  • Psychotherapy can help with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, workplace performance, emotional dysregulation, tinnitus distress, and personal growth. If you’re unsure whether therapy is right for you, you can book a free 15 minute no obligation call to explore if we could be a good fit for you.

  • Your first session focuses on understanding your goals, background, and current concerns. You’ll have an opportunity to ask questions, learn how therapy works, and explore what you want to change. Together we’ll develop an initial plan for moving forward.

  • Sessions are typically 50 minutes. Most clients benefit from meeting weekly or bi-weekly, especially in the early stages of treatment. Frequency can be adjusted based on your needs and progress.

  • The length of therapy varies depending on your goals and the issues we’re addressing. Some people see meaningful progress in 6–12 sessions, while others choose longer-term support for deeper or ongoing work. This will be discussed collaboratively throughout therapy.

  • Therapy draws from the most current and evidenced based treatment approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectal Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Trauma processing, Attachment Theory and Sports & Performance Psychology.

  • No referral is required. You can book directly by contacting InsightWell via our contact form or booking in for a free 15 minute consultation.

  • At insightWell we offer secure virtual sessions from the comfort of your own space. Sessions are available for clients throughout Ontario, offering flexibility and convenience from the comfort of your home or office.

    Tinnitus Recovery coaching is offered across North America and Globally.

  • Pricing is set within the average range in Ontario for individual psychotherapy at $200 per 50min session. All sessions will be invoiced following attendance, which can be presented for insurance purposes.

  • Most extended health plans in Canada cover psychotherapy services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist. You’ll receive a receipt after each session to submit to your insurance provider. Coverage varies, so it’s a good idea to check your specific plan.

  • Every therapeutic relationship is different. We’ll explore what didn’t work previously and build an approach that better fits your goals, learning style, and needs. Many clients find that the right therapeutic match makes a significant difference.

  • Depending on your goals, we may use worksheets, reflections, skill practice, or guided exercises between sessions. These activities help reinforce progress and build momentum.

  • You should begin noticing shifts in your thinking, emotional regulation, coping skills, or daily functioning. We’ll review your progress regularly and adjust the approach if needed to ensure therapy remains helpful and aligned with your goals.

  • A 48-hour cancellation policy applies to all appointments. Rescheduling is easy through the online booking system or by contacting the clinic directly.
